Matthew 6:11

Good, infinitely good God
If we have doubted You, send Your restoration –
Vivacity redounding to the praise of Your spectacular grace.
Even in the depths on the valley, may Your praise spring forth

Upon lips of those with grateful hearts, those who have
Seen the glory and long for more.

Tell us of the marvel and wonder that we were made for.
Here we find Your matchless name, Your great beauty,
Is all that we could seek to be truly
Satisfied.

Deliver us from the attack of the evil one!
Awaken us to Your truth that we might reject his lies,
Yearning toward the redemption of our bodies, the hope that is in Christ Jesus.

Only You sustain us in the night of weeping.
Under the burden of sorrow and vicarious pain we cry out before You,
Reasoning that the Lover of our souls is also the Lifter of our heads;

Day after day our tears water the earth;
After the sunset our cries still stand before You;
In the deep of the night our souls refuse comfort;
Lonely for the impact of Your arrival.
You alone, You only, can turn these tears to shouts of joy.

Before the earth was, You were;
Redemption already in the workings of Your heart and mind.
Even before our birth You called us to the place of intimacy, satisfaction,
Assuaging every doubt and fear as we enter the place of Your glory
Desiring nothing more than to dwell in Your presence.
